Why are we called “Leerie Studio”?

Leerie Studio gets its name from the Scottish word "leerie," which means lamplighter. This term reflects the studio's mission to illuminate creativity and guide projects to fruition, contrasting with the word "leary," which expressed a sense of wariness or caution.

Historically, a lamplighter was responsible for lighting and maintaining the street lamps in the 19th century. The lamplighter's work brought light and life into evening streets, making it a fitting metaphor for our creative process at Leerie Studio. We are here to illuminate your vision so that the folks you want to reach can see your mission.

Do we travel for brand projects?

Absolutely. Most of our work is over here in the Appalachian Southeast, but we love the mountains out west and the cold up north. We currently work with incredible clients across the U.S. and are always excited bring your brand to light - wherever you call home.
